Sustainability

Approach

A Strategic Foundation

Sustainability is at the core of Tornum Group’s operations and future growth. For us, it represents more than compliance or a checklist—it is a driver of competitiveness, innovation, and long-term value creation.

As part of Volati, we share a common framework, but our goals and commitments are defined within the realities of our industries and customers. Sustainability considerations are embedded in every stage of our journey, from how we evaluate acquisitions to how we integrate new companies into the Group.
It shapes how we design our systems, how we manage resources, and how we ensure that the solutions we build today are resilient enough to meet the demands of tomorrow.

Responsibility

Our Responsibility Framework

Tornum Group’s sustainability efforts are built on three central pillars: Business Ethics, Environment & Climate, and Employees. These pillars guide how we manage risks, ensure good governance, and create long-term value for all stakeholders.

Business ethics means upholding the highest standards of integrity throughout our operations and supply chains, with zero tolerance for misconduct. Environment and climate focus our innovation on energy efficiency, resource conservation, and emissions reduction, contributing to a global shift towards more sustainable production.

And through the employees pillar, we work to create safe, inclusive, and attractive workplaces where people thrive and leadership reflects a broad mix of perspectives. Together, these focus areas make sustainability a living part of our business rather than a separate initiative.

Transparency

Commitment to Transparency

True sustainability requires openness and accountability. Tornum Group has therefore committed to clear and measurable goals. Among them are a reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 40% by 2030, in line with the Paris Agreement, and achieving 40–60% gender balance in leadership positions by the same year.

We have also implemented strict standards for ethical conduct, supported by a Code of Conduct and a secure whistleblowing system, ensuring that anyone can speak up without fear of reprisal. By setting clear targets and being transparent in how we work towards them, we make it possible for our stakeholders to hold us accountable. For us, transparency is not about reporting for its own sake, it is about showing progress, building trust, and proving that our commitments translate into real results.
